What is KVH?

KVH TIMBER

Modern, dimensionally stable  and very durable structural timber.  Four-sidedly planned softwood beams were  kiln-dried  up to the moisture of 15 %.  A strictly defined kiln-drying technology guarantees increased durability, eliminates deformations, reduces the cracking  susceptibility and protects against insects or fungi. Therefore any softwood so treated requires no impregnation.  Another quality which makes KVH timber stand out is its length. It can be as much as  13 meters long thanks to joining 5 meter beams by means of finger joints which, in turn, guarantees high durability. In addition,  KVH structural timber is aesthetically very much pleasing, it has a high degree of  fire resistance, it can be processed easily and the last but not least it is light.

KVH timber is certified material which meets even the strictest construction requirements. According to the  European standard EN 1912 it is classified in C24 class.
